Wedding Weekend Attire Details

Jackson Hole evenings can get chilly,  we encourage you to bring a shawl or jacket!

The wedding ceremony will take place in a field, and there is a brief (but beautiful) 8-10 minute walk to the reception site from the ceremony. Ladies will want to choose their footwear accordingly!

For those needing special assistance from the ceremony site to the reception we will have a shuttle on hand.

May I bring a plus one or my child?

Our celebration is strictly RSVP only.  We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. If you need a babysitting service during the weekend, there are several local options including Jackson Hole Babysitting (jhbabysitters@gmail.com) / (307) 690-7761) and Jackson Hole Nannies (Renaye@JacksonHoleNannies.com) / (307.690.7423)

General Transportation Information

We strongly advise having a designated driver or using taxis for events where transportation is not provided.

Jackson Hole Weather

Mountain weather can vary, it is possible to have two seasons in one day!  While the days are often still quite warm and sunny at the end of August, this is not a given.  For your visit plan to bring layers for the evenings and consider a raincoat for occasional afternoon showers.

Altitude

Jackson is 6,200 feet above sea level.  This higher altitude (as compared to the east coast) means stronger sun rays and an increased chance of dehydration.  It is important to use sunscreen and to drink plenty of water each day, beginning before you arrive!
